Our whiskey barrel bar with tall doors starts with an authentic bourbon whiskey barrel sourced from a local distillery, cut open for an internal liquor cabinet, with double doors. The taller doors make it easier to get the contents in and out.

nYou can add a safety hasp style lock if you want to lock it with a padlock.

nChoose from one of our three color options: polyurethane only, chestnut, or walnut.

nSeveral screws are added to the rings to keep it from getting loose as it dries out. The rings and screws are painted black and wood stained with either dark walnut or chestnut stain (or no stain). Polyurethane applied for the finish to the inside and outside of the barrel. Sealing the inside with polyurethane is important to keep the dust and char on the inside of the barrel from getting the inside dirty.

nWe offer several shelving options for this barrel cabinet. Our stationary shelves can be made with a barrel lid, solid pine, or solid oak. We also offer lazy susans made from either pine or oak.

nWe sand the whiskey barrel bar to make it smooth enough to dust while trying preserve as much of the original character as possible. This character is also called “patina” and it ensures that every barrel is just a little different than all the others we make. You can trust that nobody else has a barrel bar that looks exactly like yours!

nBattery operated white lights are included, but we also offer upgrades on the lighting – battery colored, plug in white, or plug in colored. Colored lights also have white as an option and have a remote to change colors.

nThe lid can also be customized if you’d like for a minimum of $50. We use a Cricut to cut a stencil and then paint the design on using black paint. We won’t put trademarked logos, images, or lettering on the barrel when doing customization.
